  • Those who belong to Sc, St and Bc are eligible with (40%) aggregate marks in Sciences Group Subjects. 10+2 from other equivalent board with physics, chemistry & Biology. Intermediate Vocational with bridge Course in Biological & Physical Sciences.
  • Women Candidates only,The student should be Medically fit.

CAMPUS INFRASTRUCTURE:

The campus infrastructure meets the needs of students and faculty. The lush green lawns surround the building and make an excellent environment for learning. The construction is done in a planned manner that fulfills the demand of nursing. The spacious lecture halls have audio-video systems. Faculty uses this AV equipment during practice and teaching. It is also useful for conducting seminars, workshops & lectures. The campus also boosts a multimedia center that accommodates 100 people at a time. This room is audio-visually connected to the surgical skill lab & operation theater. It has a video conference facility also. There are board rooms and conference halls that allow conducting of multiple courses without any hindrance.

CLASS ROOMS:

At Viswashanthi College of Nursing, in combination with classroom sessions, the college imparts clinical training to the students. In turn, they can partake in clinical conferences and bedside presentations. More so, they get training, via interactive sessions like case presentations, lectures and group discussions.

LIBRARY:

At Viswashanthi college of Nursing, the different departments boast of dedicated libraries that are equipped with laboratories and internet connectivity, if needed, Also the librarian has a huge collection of books and journals (including national & international ones). Every year the libraries are updated too.

MEDICAL LAB:

To inculcate practical skills institute has various laboratories like anatomy and physiology lab, Nursing foundation lab, Advanced nursing skill lab, Community Health nursing lab, MCH lab and nutrition lab

Computer Lab:

Students acquire basic as well as advanced computer skills using the computer lab. Adequate number of computers with broad band internet facility is available in a spacious computer room.

HOSTEL:

                         The Institute Has Well –Organized Girl’s Hostel. The hostel rooms are spacious and ventilated. Every room has basic amenities such as a table, chair, wardrobe, and bed. The hostel has full- time warden who looks after cleanliness and all the hostel-related activities. The mess is present on the campus that provides delicious and healthy food to the students. There are strict hostel rules that every student should follow. For insane there are fixed timings for entry & exit. The warden takes attendance at 8.00 pm and in case of violation, the principal takes corrective action. Being the anti-ragging campus the management is strict and imposes penalties if anybody is found in such activities. A first aid facility is also available in the hostel in case of emergency, the students are provided with immediate medical help.
